Vehicle Differentials and Transmissions have to breathe due to change of temperature and the factory fitted breathers often only sit on top of the Diff. DON’T risk it! Fit a HKB breather kit and the problem goes away. As the suction point is moved up high above the water line, just like a snorkel.
