Elche is a new Beni M'Rirt wool hall runner rug, handmade in the middle of the Atlas Mountains of Morocco.
Beni M'Rirt wool rugs are hand-knotted by talented Berber dexterous weavers and professionally washed in Khenifra in the Mountains of Morocco. 100% premium wool and all natural organic ingredients are used to ensure pliability, a plush feel and exceptionally soft texture of these beautiful rugs.
The makers of our beautiful Beni M'Rirt rugs source wool from around the world, choosing the softest wool to give the best finish. After the wool is hand-knotted into a beautiful rug by the talented weavers, they are then are washed, brushed and dried. This process occurs three to four times to give them the best finish. This can be a long, hard process particularly in the harsh winter months when it snows in the mountains.
Every rug is individually handcrafted, one-of-a -kind and maybe slightly asymmetrical in their shape and pattern with some minor imperfections. Handwoven by local artisans e ach piece has a rich history woven into it handed down by generations and bring life and colour to any home or business not matter your interior decor style.
Even with the use of professional photography, the images of our rugs can appear brighter or slightly warmer than in person. We attempt to present images as true as possible. This can also alter between screens.
