Boujaad Runner 91
Boujaad runner, handmade in the middle of the Atlas Mountains of Morocco.
These rugs are handcrafted by the women of the various tribes of Morocco and can take a few months to a year to complete. Each tribe has a particular style craft and the rugs are given the name sake of these tribes ie Boujaad.
Boujaad rugs o ften have patterns of small geometric shapes and stars. These soft yet striking pieces are produced with soft wool using mostly natural food with dyes, henna and indigo. Colours are often - pinks, red, purples and oranges. Each rug is individually handcrafted and maybe slightly asymmetrical in their shape and pattern with some minor imperfections.
Even with the use of professional photography, the images of our rugs can appear brighter or slightly warmer than in person. We attempt to present images as true as possible. This can also alter between screens.
