- Ligar Bay, a tidal beach in the Takaka area of Golden Bay, is renowned for its golden sands and crystal-clear, warm waters. This idyllic spot is one of the most beautiful and safest beaches in the region, offering a perfect retreat from the bustle of daily life. Within its sheltered waters, Michelle has captured the early morning calm moorings of this bright red sailboat as the tide comes in.
