It’s been a while since our last Lakeman release, so we thought we’d make this one a Big Hairy One. Stacked with their 5 latest 440ml brews (which are all massive) and one of the best 330ml line-ups in NZ, this is the perfect box of beers to enjoy over a looooooog weekend!

Using water sourced from the aquifer which is directly beneath the brewery in Taupo, Lakeman beers are crisp and clean yet pack a real punch, particularly their latest 440ml releases. Including 3 x Double Hazy IPA’s you’ll be wanting to sit down for this one.

Exclusive to Beer Hug, this release is full of Big Hazies, Hop Bombs and Award-Winning Crowd-Pleasers. Included in your Lakeman Legendary Line-up are the following 5x 440ml plus 7x 330ml brews;

Lakeman’s Latest 440ml Brews;

- 🐵Love Doctor Double Hazy IPA (8.7%): For the lovers of Double hazy’s Cryo Sabro, Cryo Talus, Citra, and Nelson Sauvin produces a tropical juice bomb with a glorious flavour profile of coconut, mango, peach, citrus, and grape.
- 🐵Okay Boomer Double IPA (8.5%): To distract you from the doom and gloom of our impending futures and give hope to your taste buds, we have dipped our toes into the use of hop oils, which have the credentials of being more environmentally conscious. We deliver a punchy and popping tropical journey in the comfort and balance of a double IPA.
- 🐵Cactus Juice Double Hazy IPA (8.7%): Throwing caution to the hot desert wind agave juice has been used in the ferment to dry and temper the malt, so experimental hop NZH-102 can dominate with tropical fruit and blueberry notes. Small additions of mosaic, Simcoe and Nelson Sauvin complement in the production of this big juicy hazy.
- 🐵Mastermind Hazy IPA (6.4%): Lakeman (little), known for his meticulous planning, has delved into the research to deliver a cutting-edge malt base and a grand symphony of tropical juiciness, coconut, tangerine, and a hint of sauvignon. Was the criminal mastermind planning a Pina Colada?
- 🐵Hairy’s Comet West Coast IPA (6.5%): Burning through the night sky is this cosmic West Coast IPA. Radiating flavours of the tropics, citrus, and pine with a deliciously dank tail before heading off on its journey into outer space.

Lakeman’s Legendary 330ml Brews;

- 🐵Hairy Hop IPA (6.3%): A bold hop forward IPA with aromas of summer fruit, citrus, and a hint of pine. A smooth malt ends with a pop of citrus (Champion IPA 2018).
- 🐵5 O’clock Somewhere Hazy IPA (6.0%): This Hazy IPA is the perfect breakfast, brunch, lunch, smoko, dinner or last call beer with its sweet citrus taste and hazy good looks because you know it is 5 o’clock somewhere.
- 🐵Taupo Thunder NZPA (5.7%): Lakeman is truly Taupo proud, and this New Zealand Pale Ale pays homage to our home. It is brewed with iconic Kiwi hops Riwaka and Moutere, giving bursts of passion fruit and citrus on an approachable malt (NW Top 30)
- 🐵Big Hairy APA (6.0%): A Golden American Pale Ale with so many hops jam-packed somethin’ has gotta give and that is a rodeo of stonefruit and citrus flavours with mild malt sweetness. So, saddle up partner and say yeehah!
- 🐵Primate Pilsner (5.2%): Get your opposable thumb around our crisp new world style Pilsner. Straw in colour and of light malt character with lemon citrus notes and pacific jade hops providing a soft bitter finish (NZ Supreme Beer Winner 2023).
- 🐵Sundowner Hazy IPA (5.8%): Sundowner is a little gem with its creamy body dominated by stone fruit and tropical flavours and comes in at 5.8%.
- 🐵Mornin’ Glory Hazy IPA (5.5%): Mornin’ Glory has a fresh, zesty hit of citrus up front followed by sweeter mango notes
