Common name; Feverfew Formerly: Chrysanthemum parthenium, Matricaria parthenium, Pyrethrum parthenium.

Feverfew is a member of the Asteraceae family (Daisies) and is native to the Balkan Peninsula. The plant has a long history of use as a medical herb by the Greeks and Europeans.

A herbaceous perennial, Feverfew grows into a small bush up to 70 cm with pungently scented gold green fine cut leaves. The white petaled daisy flowers bloom profusely throughout summer. Plants grow best in full sun and should be cut back hard in Autumn to prevent legginess. Plants will self seed readily.
