Qantas Airways Boeing 707-338C VH-EAI City of Darwin cn 19629-737. The name V-Jet was introduced by Qantas to promote the 707s turbofan engines. The V being derived from vannus a common Latin term for fan. Served with QANTAS until 1975 then returned home to RAAF service from 1983 to 2007. Metal diecast model. Polished fuselage fixed metal landing gear and rolling rubber wheels. Approx. 23cm x 22cm. Comes with a metal display stand.
