Lockheed L-188C Electra ZK-TEB CN 188-2010. Named Atarau which means Moonlight. This was the second of three aircraft ordered new by Tasman Empire Airways Ltd TEAL. Delivered to Auckland 22121959 and completed its first operational flight AucklandNadiAuckland Captain E.R. Tredrea 111960. Served until 3051972. This is an all-metal diecast model with rubber tyres. Rotating metal props and magnetically attached landing gear which can be displayed up or down. It has plenty of weight and it is a little beauty Approx. 16cm x 14.5cm.
