The APEX ARC-8 is a strong and light weight flow-formed wheel specifically designed for BMW fitments. It has been extremely well proven on many BMW (and other brand vehicles) racing all around the world, and is used on a large amount of the race cars in the BMW Race Driver Series here in NZ.

With a classic "CSL" inspired design these wheels look great, are light weight to help maximize your vehicles performance, and are proven strong enough to handle life on the race track and street.

This wheel and size is the best wheel available to suit New Zealand's BMW Race Driver Series E46 class, and is also very popular with E36 2 litre class race cars in the BMW Race Driver Series in New Zealand.

The ARC-8 wheel is available in two unique face profiles. The shallower face provides increased caliper clearance on narrow applications, while the deeper concave face reduces weight and creates a stunningly aggressive appearance on low offset and wide width applications. These two face profiles are available in all 17", 18" and 19" diameters.

The spokes of the ARC-8 were designed to be robust where they need to be and extra lightweight where they can be. The split "Y" spokes were carefully evaluated from every aspect to ensure light weight and remarkable strength. The lack of a deep front lip and spokes that connect directly to the barrel's lip create a rigid wheel with even load distribution. These features help reduce one of the most common concerns with aftermarket wheels — bending. APEX wheels properly clear all OEM brake calipers. Our wheels are targeted at the serious performance-minded owner. The spokes of the flatter faced ARC-8 were designed to clear Big Brake Kits. This is the best and only choice for BBK equipped cars. The concave version of the wheel is the best option for cars with factory brake calipers. Brake Clearance - Barrel
A lot of room in a tight space

Spoke clearance is only half the problem. The barrel opening on a wheel also needs to be big enough to clear the sides of your caliper and rotor. Many wheels on the market have aesthetic compromises in their design that consumers don’t even know result in major negative impacts on barrel clearance. Those wheels may work with smaller stock brakes, or smaller diameter big brake kits, but the larger kits will pose a major problem.
