Ilala Lampshade

Made by weavers deep in the heart of Zululand, KwaZulu-Natal South Africa. These lampshades are made from bush Ilala. They have a delicate looking weave and are natural in colour.

Ilala is a locally found plant that is found in abundance in some parts of Southern Africa. Its softness is determined by the region it comes from. KwaZulu-Natal has the hardest fibre making it easy to make structured pieces.

Fitting is not provided with the lampshade.
