Book #2 in The Heartstopper Series!
Alphabet Team Review
Alice Oseman writes in her authorâs note, âEveryone deserves the time, space and support to figure out their feelings and identityâ and this is what this book explores with Nick, and with Charlie being an amazing support for him. Itâs gorgeous.
The side characters get a bit more time in this volume which includes some great representation: two sapphic women (Tara and Darcy) and a TransFemme woman (Elle).
I also like that it discusses dealing with âfriendsâ that think homophobic jokes are the height of comedy and concluding that you donât actually have to like them as people very much and perhaps youâve outgrown them.
Again, a book that I wish existed when I was a teenager.
