Starting from the size of the tank/s, location and material, over the pre-filter and further treatment up to the pumping system, all sized to match each other and the purpose.

In some areas rainwater will be the only water source available and a higher water treatment will be required.

In a urban environment rainwater can be used for flushing toilets and irrigation, thus saving on water and sewage fees and minimizing the carbon footprint of the project.

A building and/or resource consent might be required; please check with your local council.
