Devan’s s are a user-friendly way of treating your wastewater to a much higher level than septic tanks. Whether your council requires it, or you want to take better care of your immediate environment, there is an Integra system to meet your needs.
Integra systems have been designed with years of research and development to be the most robust and reliable system in the market. Efficient to run with low annual operating costs and power consumption there is an Integra model to suit any application.
The Integra system is part of Allflow's Total Water Solution: everything you need for your home's rainwater, greywater, and wastewater systems. We can supply all the equipment you'll need for these systems, including Integra. Features and benefits
- Light weight modular system
- Simple proven treatment technology
- Quiet operation
- Low power consumption
- High quality secondary effluent
- Guarantees: the vessels carry a 15-year guarantee and not a single Integra vessel has failed in the field. Third party components are provided with a two-year manufacturers’ warranty.
- Certification and acceptance: the Integra system is certified to comply or exceed the standard for construction of underground septic tanks (AS/NZS 1546.1) and the standard for on-site wastewater management (AS/NZS1547).
- Maintenance requirement are as per your local authority or 6 monthly whichever is most frequent.
- The disposal field or dripper line must be either below the surface of the ground or underneath 150mm of mulch. This ensures the safe disposal of the fluid without risk to health of humans or other animals.
- Low energy blower runs 24 hours per day to ensure no belching occurs (which causes odorous air to vent from the system)
Just like with ordinary septic tanks there is a list of dos and don’ts around what household chemicals are safe for use with your system. If the wrong products end up in the system they can ’kill’ the system and this will likely result in bad smells until the system comes back to life. The Integra system will come with a comprehensive guide. Independent trial
The Integra S-15 has been independently certified and audited in New Zealand through the Rotorua OSET trials to ensure all design principles, materials used and quality control complies with AS/NZS1546.3. Cost of operation
For the Integra system, there are costs to run a pump and a blower that has been tested at approximately $175 per year. Servicing is required twice per year and each service should be around $150, though this is up to your service agent. How the system works The cycle of water
Check out the image of the cycle of water moving through the Integra system. Step 1
Wastewater discharged from the home (or commercial premises) includes the water from sinks, showers, toilets, washing machines, dishwashers and the like. This water must be handled correctly before being released into the environment. Step 2
The Integra system receives all wastewater and treats it to a very high level releasing a clear odourless liquid when the process is complete. Step 3
Through a drip line (run either sub surface or on the surface of the ground under mulch) the treated wastewater is released into the environment where it can irrigate lawns or planted areas, keeping them lush all year round. Step 4
The water that is discharged into the environment is evaporated off where it can consolidate in the sky and start its life all over again as rainwater. How the chambers operate
See the image above that shows the primary chamber, the aeration chamber, and the clarification and pump out chamber of the S15 model. Primary chamber
The primary chamber receives all the wastewater from your home. The configuration of the chamber allows sludge to settle and crust to form and provides an anaerobic (no oxygen) environment where solids are consumed by bacteria. Aeration chamber
The aeration chamber receives the mid-water from the primary chamber and uses oxygen pumped through a diffuser to allow a different set of bacteria to have a go at breaking down any remaining solids that have made it through. Clarification chamber
The clarification chamber allows a calm environment for any remaining solids to settle out and be returned to the primary chamber to be further processed. The clean, clear water then spills over into the central vessel where it is pumped out to the disposal field. Available models
Allflow sells all three models of the Integra system, though only two are currently available to buy on the website. As with all wastewater systems, it's best to directly so we can discuss your situation and provide you with a single quote on complete installation. S15
