Luxman NT-07 Network Transport

A music streamer that adds advanced network playback to existing D/A converters.

- Leading stream sound sources to “music"
- Sophisticated and versatile network transport
- Luxman's first network transport NT-07

Combining the latest digital audio technology with Luxman's know-how, it uses a thorough audio approach to play a wide variety of sound sources with superb sound quality and a sophisticated and comfortable operating environment.

In addition to streaming data from NAS, USB storage, and popular music streaming services, the HDMI input/output provides a variety of connectivity that allows you to seamlessly enjoy audio signals from video sources.

The NT-07, which is completely specialised for audio playback, offers all audio users a new musical experience for the future by combining it with existing D/A converters.

Transport functions that create an advanced network audio environment

The NT-07 is a transport product that creates an advanced network audio environment by combining it with your D/A converter (USB, optical, or coaxial digital, models with either input). The main sources that can be used as sound sources are NAS (Network Attached Storage) that supports the industry standard platform OpenHome standard, USB storage that can be attached directly to the main unit, and a number of popular music streaming services. The heart of the circuit is equipped with the latest generation high-speed application processor module that processes a wide range of functions stress-free and provides comfortable operation.

Large-capacity series power supply housed in a thin case and thorough noise countermeasures

Like all of Luxman's audio components, the NT-07 is designed with a sound quality-first approach. The power supply section is equipped with a large capacity OI type power transformer and a custom block capacitor consisting of 2 x 10,000μF.

Luxman have built a traditional high-inertia power supply circuit that boasts high noise compression and stability. In addition, the thin housing is constructed from a highly rigid chassis, and the front panel has a detailed blaster white finish, a common design motif for Luxman products, creating an elegant and simple appearance that is easy to integrate into existing audio systems.

Supports various audio formats and high-definition organic EL display

The NT-07's USB output supports the highest sampling frequencies of up to PCM 768kHz/32bit and DSD 22.5MHz/1bit (optical/coaxial output is up to PCM 192kHz/24bit). It also has a built-in core decoding function for MQA format sound sources, and can be selected from three modes: "off", "core decoding", and "pass-through" according to the connected D/A converter.

The centre of the front panel is equipped with a large, high-definition organic EL display that displays a variety of information in an easy-to-read manner, such as the name of the song being played, artist name, elapsed time, and format of the audio source being played.

Simple server function with full-fledged audio dedicated NAS and USB

Compatible with the OpenHome standard, the NT-07 can read sound source data stored on a music server built on a NAS and play it back with high quality. By choosing a NAS with noise suppression and enhanced power supply, such as Melco Syncrets' DELA, which was developed as an audio device, or IO Data Equipment's fidata, you can achieve even higher quality and convenience.

This allows you to access high-quality sound sources. In addition, it is equipped with USB terminals on the front and rear (exclusive use of either) that allow you to connect USB storage containing sound source data without building a network environment.

A high-quality streaming service that allows you to freely enjoy a huge amount of music data

A subscription-type music streaming service that allows you to listen to nearly 100 million songs as much as you want for a fixed monthly fee. The NT-07 has a rich lineup of high-resolution sound sources, and is compatible with Qobuz and TIDAL, which are integrated with the dedicated app "LUXMAN Stream," and Spotify, which has an overwhelming number of users and attractive recommendation functions.

It also supports TuneIn, which allows you to listen to Internet radio and podcast programs from around the world for free.

Qobuz has been announced to start service in Japan in 2023. As of July 2023, TIDAL has not started new contracts from within Japan. (Both services can be used with subscribed accounts.)
