The materials and manufacturing process are the same for K.Ge Professional and Standard reeds. However, professional reeds are selected as some reeds have better intonation, articulation, tone and finishing. The reeds are not intentionally made this way; it is the nature of a natural product for there to be variations, and some of them simply turn out better than others
