Petrek GPS and Petrek 3G uses different types of charging cables. The Petrek GPS uses a special Micro USB plug while the Petrek 3G uses new generation magnetic charging plug. Make sure you choose the correct plug for your Petrek unit.

The Petrek GPS Collar adapters are made to break off should your bundle of joy end up in a tight situation. These are designed to fit onto most small to medium collars and snugly fit the Petrek GPS onto your existing collar. However, it is recommended that if your collar adapter keeps snapping you may need to find a slightly thinner collar.

The Petrek Silicon case is designed to fit most small to medium-sized collars and is compatible with large collars when used with the large collar adaptor strap (sold separately). It is engineered to break and snap off when put under pressure in tight situations. Thus, if your mischievous cat or dog become trapped under a house or over a fence the Petrek unit will break off rather than stay on.

You will need to make sure your dog or cat is used to wearing a collar and has their own collar before purchasing and attaching the Petrek unit. The power button cover for the Petrek 3G is a vital part of the unit. A damaged, cracked or torn out cover means moisture and liquid can enter the internally sensitive parts of the tracker which can cause permanent damage. If your cover is torn or damaged from long term usage it is recommended you replace it asap to insure long term reliability.
